Why we created NotBunker
People searching for protection often begin with a bunker. We believe the broader question deserves attention too: what kind of place would you want your family to have for the years ahead?
NotBunker explores that question through practical guides and an introduction to South Sanctuary’s land and retreat services in Chilean Patagonia. Our perspective is commercial and clearly identified: we would like to help interested families explore the project.
What South Sanctuary offers
South Sanctuary is based in Chile and connects families with selected land. Depending on the parcel and scope, it can coordinate local professionals, retreat development, furnishing, maintenance and other services. Current availability, pricing, feasibility and responsibilities are confirmed individually.
How we approach evidence
We distinguish landscape qualities from property-specific capabilities. General sources provide context; they do not certify the safety, suitability or value of a parcel. We link official sources in our field notes and identify material questions that require local review.
We do not publish hazard rankings or claim that Patagonia is immune to war, climate change, disease or social disruption. The idea is to explore geographic options and a practical way of living.
Photography
The photographs come from the South Sanctuary project’s existing reference collection. They illustrate Patagonian landscapes and the retreat concept. Exact lot photographs, boundaries, infrastructure and availability must be requested for the property under consideration.
